WHY WE BUILT IT
A small Mac utility from a small London studio
Felix Web Solutions Ltd is a one-person studio in London, and Haptiker is one of the Mac apps we ship under the FelixWeb name.
The idea is simple: the trackpad already has big unused edges, so they can do useful work. We kept it light, private and easy to buy, with a trial first and a single payment after.

Each side of the trackpad has its own job. There is also an optional bottom-edge gesture for flicking between apps, which stays off until you switch it on.
Screen brightness on the left
It adjusts the display your pointer is currently sitting on.
Key lighting along the top
Swipe sideways along the top edge to dim or brighten the keys.

One licence key works on up to 3 Macs. To move it to a different Mac, deactivate it in Haptiker's License settings first.
macOS only lets an app read trackpad touches once that permission is granted. Haptiker uses it to spot edge gestures, and the touches are handled in memory on your Mac, never stored or sent anywhere.
