HyperMonitor shows what your Mac is running, listening on and starting up

A native Mac app that lists your processes, open ports and launch items, flags anything that looks off and explains it in everyday language. Nothing about your Mac is sent anywhere unless you choose Claude or Codex for Ask or Explain and agree first.

Free 14-day trial · Introductory price £17.40 until 23:59 UK time, 30 October 2026, then £29 (code HYPERLAUNCH applied for you) · macOS 14 Sonoma or later (explanations need macOS 26) · Apple silicon & Intel Prices in GBP include VAT where applicable. WHY WE BUILT IT

Security tooling that talks like a person

Felix Web Solutions Ltd is a one-person studio in London, and HyperMonitor is the bigger of the two Mac apps we publish under the FelixWeb name.

Most system tools list everything and explain nothing. We wanted one that says what a process is, who signed it and whether it deserves a second look, while staying native, light and respectful of your data.

  • Made in London

Built and supported by one person at Felix Web Solutions Ltd.

  • Light and native

A SwiftUI app with no background daemons, agents or extensions.

  • No tracking

No analytics or crash reporters. Online only for licence and update checks.

THE SHORT TOUR

Four views, one window

Each view answers a different question about your Mac, and all of them update live as things change.

Who owns each port

Every listening port is matched to its app, with a note on whether it is reachable only from this Mac or from your whole network. Relaunching with root access adds other users’ sockets.

Findings ranked by risk

Unsigned listeners, binaries swapped mid-run and brand-new launch jobs are flagged as critical, medium or low, each with a reason.

What starts on its own

Browse user and system agents and daemons alongside their plist, program and running process, then load, unload or remove them without leaving the app.

Jargon, translated

Common macOS processes have hand-checked descriptions. For anything else you can request a short AI explanation, handled on your Mac by Apple Intelligence or by Claude or Codex once you agree.

ASK

Type a question,
get a readable reply.

Ask about your processes, ports and findings and get a short answer in normal words. Apple Intelligence replies on this Mac; the Claude or Codex CLI you already use sends a snapshot to Anthropic or OpenAI, and only after you give the go-ahead.

  • Local or cloud, your pick

Apple Intelligence replies on this Mac. Claude or Codex send the snapshot to Anthropic or OpenAI using your own subscription.

  • It asks first

Before the first snapshot goes anywhere you are asked for consent and can inspect the exact payload. You can withdraw consent in Settings whenever you like.

  • Pick the contents

Settings let you decide whether a snapshot includes processes, ports, findings and launch items.

  • Kept out of every snapshot

Command-line arguments, environment variables, open files and remote addresses are never sent, because they often hold passwords and keys.

FAQ

A few quick answers

Yes. The 14-day trial has every feature switched on and needs no account or card. Refunds are available for 30 days through Lemon Squeezy.

Only if you choose Claude or Codex for Ask or Explain. It asks for consent once, shows what would be sent, and Explain shares just the item’s name, path, signature and owner. The built-in descriptions and Apple Intelligence never leave your Mac. Apart from that, the app only makes licence and update checks.

macOS 14 Sonoma or later on Apple silicon or Intel. Ask and Explain with Apple Intelligence need macOS 26, while the built-in descriptions work on every supported version.

Personal covers up to 2 of your own Macs, Founder Lifetime up to 3 and the Team 5-pack up to 5. Deactivate a licence in the app before moving it to another Mac. For 10 or more Macs, email hello@hypermonitor.app about volume pricing.

A launch-only licence at £67, paid once, with all future updates and nothing to renew. “Lifetime” means for as long as HyperMonitor is developed and sold by us. It is limited to the first 500 buyers and closes at 23:59 UK time, 30 October 2026, or sooner if the 500 sell out.

The full story lives on the HyperMonitor site.
